Nils Kurt Erik Einar Groenberg (5 September 2002-21 October 2021), known professionally as Einar, was a Swedish rapper. Born in Stockholm, he was arrested at age 17 for anti-social behavior, and he released his first two rap albums in 2019. Einar became a famous rapper in Sweden, but he also continued his criminal behavior, being convicted of a narcotics crime, assault, and driving without a permit; he was known to socialize with criminals. In April 2020, he was kidnapped by rival rapper Yasin and the Varbynatverket gang, and he was held at gunpoint for several hours, photographed by his kidnappers (who shared the photos to social media), and robbed of $46,000 worth of his property. Einar continued to get himself into trouble; he was arrested in October 2021 after a stabbing. On 21 October, just before he was supposed to testify about his kidnapping, he was executed by gunshot in Hammarby Sjostad, Stockholm.
