Eigil (died 9 AD) was a Cherusci German warrior during the 1st century AD. He was a close friend of Folkwin Wolfspeer, helping him and Thusnelda steal a Roman legionary standard, and later volunteering to join Folkwin when he went on the run from the Romans. Eigil helped Folkwin fight off the Bructeri tribe after they betrayed Folkwin's company, but he and Folkwin's remaining followers were killed in a clash with the Romans in the "Dark Land" of the Black Forest.
