Edward de Navan was an Anglo-Irish lord of Norman descent who led the Lordship of Ireland's army at the Battle of Stackallen in 1273, where the English were defeated by Irish rebels. He survived the defeat, but his lands were later pillaged by Ronan O'Thomas' rebels.
