Edward Strasser was a General of the Bolivian Army and commander of the First Army Corps.
Biography[]
Edward Strasser was born in Bolivia to a family that had emigrated from Germany in the 19th century, and he was a member of the landed elite. Strasser joined the Bolivian Army and rose to the rank of General, commanding the First Army Corps. Strasser, like Minister of Defense General Cucombre, had connections to the cocaine trade, being friends with drug lord Alejandro Sosa. In 1983, he spent time at his Cochabamba mansion with other celebrities.
