Edward H. Ware (22 June 1902-6 August 1977) was a Ku Klux Klan member from Indiana.
Biography[]
Edward H. Ware was born on 22 June 1902 in Indianapolis, Indiana, United States. He worked as a laborer in Indianapolis until 1925, when he joined the Ku Klux Klan during its rise to power in Indiana (5,000,000 people joined the KKK that year). Ware took part in violence and demonstrations against African-Americans and Jews in the city, and he was arrested for the murder of a 13-year-old black boy in 1926. He was sentenced to life imprisonment, and he died in jail in 1977.
