Edward Curtis (25 October 1801-2 August 1856) was a member of the US House of Representatives (W-NY 3) from 4 March 1837 to 3 March 1841, succeeding Gideon Lee and preceding Fernando Wood.

Biography[]

Edward Curtis was born in Windsor, Vermont in 1801, and he became a lawyer in New York City in 1824. He served in the US House of Representatives from 1837 to 1841 and as Collector of the Port of New York from 1841 to 1844, and he died in 1856.
