Eduardo Ferrete was a Venetian diplomat. In 1507, he was sent to Ferrara, where he worked out a pact of mutual defense and security between the Republic of Venice and the Duchy of Ferrara. Unfortunately, this treaty was broken during the War of the League of Cambrai.
