Edmund Deberry (14 August 1787-12 December 1859) was a member of the US House of Representatives (W-NC 7) from 4 March 1829 to 3 March 1831 (succeeding John Culpepper and preceding Lauchlin Bethune) and from 4 March 1833 to 3 March 1843 (succeeding Bethune and preceding John Reeves Jones Daniel), from NC-4 from 4 March 1843 to 1845 (succeeding William Henry Washington and preceding Alfred Dockery), and from NC-3 from 4 March 1849 to 3 March 1851 (succeeding Daniel Moreau Barringer and preceding Dockery).

Biography[]

Edmund Deberry was born in Lawrenceville, North Carolina in 1787, and he operated cotton and flour mills before serving in the State Senate from 1806 to 1811, 1813 to 1814, 1820 to 1821, and from 1826 to 1828 and in the US House of Representatives from 1829 to 1831, 1833 to 1845, and from 1849 to 1851. He died in 1859.
