Edgar Georgiy Lachinov (18 October 1900-19 January 1985) was a Bolshevik party member.

Biography[]

Edgar Georgiy Lachinov was born on 18 October 1900 in Suetovo, Smolensk Oblast, Russian Empire, and he worked at a canned food factory. Lachinov took part in the strikes of 1917 during the Russian Revolution, and he joined the Bolshevik party of Vladimir Lenin due to his communist views. Lachinov became the head of the CPSU party in the Suetovo Prepared Food Factory, and he was loyal to the Stalinist faction for years. In 1953, after Stalin died, Nikita Khrushchev ousted Lachinov from his post, and Lachinov woud leave politics. He died in 1985.
