Edenilson Velasquez "Paco" Larin (1990-) was the leader of MS-13 in the United States during the 2010s. He was responsible for the 2016 murder of 19-year-old Oscar Acosta in Brentwood, Long Island for his friendship with two (unbeknownst to him) 18th Street Gang members, as well as a 2019 effort to scour Elmont for rival 18th Street members to kill for encroaching on his gang's territory. He was arrested in Ohio in 2023 and charged by a Brooklyn court on 21 June 2023, having been implicated in racketeering, murder, money laundering, drugs trafficking, and other crimes.
