The Ecuadorian Radical Liberal Party (PLRE) was a liberal political party in Ecuador that existed from 1878 to 2006. The party evolved from the radical wing of the Liberal Party of Ecuador, and it was in power from 1895 to 1911, from 1921 to 1952, and from 1960 to 1970; the party's power was ended by a military coup every time. The party dissolved in 2006, as it failed to obtain the necessary 5% of Ecuadorian votes to compete in future elections.
