Ebon Clark Ingersoll (12 December 1831-31 May 1879) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-IL 5) from 20 May 1864 to 3 March 1871, succeeding Owen Lovejoy and preceding Bradford N. Stevens.

Biography[]

Ebon Clark Ingersoll was born in Dresden, New York in 1831, and he moved to Wisconsin in 1843 and then to Illinois, becoming a lawyer in Peoria in 1854. He served in the State House in 1856 and in the US House of Representatives from 1864 to 1871, and he died in 1879.
