Eberulf (born 485) was a Visigothic nobleman in the service of the Visigothic Kingdom of Spain during the 6th century AD. In 533 AD, while commanding the garrison of Emerita (Merida) in Lusitania, he was faced with a Suebian invasion from Portugal, and he proceeded to marshal up a large and powerful army which decisively defeated the invaders at the Battle of Emerita. After the battle, Eberulf led a retaliatory invasion of Portugal, conquering Aeminium (Coimbra) before advancing north into Galicia.
