
Ebba Sparre (1629-19 March 1662) was a Swedish lady-in-waiting and noble who was the lover of Queen Christina of Sweden.
Biography[]
Ebba Sparre was born into a noble family, and she arrived at court in 1644. She was a celebrated beauty at the royal court, and she became an intimate acquaintance of Queen Christina of Sweden, starting a lesbian love affair. In 1652, she married Jakob Kasimir de la Gardie, brother of the Queen's favorite Magnus Gabriel de la Gardie, but the marriage was unhappy. Sparre died in 1662.
