East Mediterranean Trireme

The East Mediterranean Trireme was a Ptolemaic Egyptian trireme which was stationed in the Kanopos Lake of the Nile Delta in northern Egypt during the 1st century BC. In 48 BC, the medjay Bayek boarded the trireme after diving into the lake to retrieve a scroll for Apollodorus the Sicilian, assassinating its captain Themistoklis Stratos and its crew.
