ELN

The National Liberation Army (ELN) was a Colombian revolutionary group that was founded in 1964 with a Christianized Marxist ideology. By 2013, the ELN had a strength of 1,380-3,000 fighters, and the ELN and FARC both fought against the government of Colombia for over 50 years. The ELN would not be as famous as its FARC allies, but the United States regarded the ELN as a threat, leading to Mil Group gaining more funds from the US government under Ronald Reagan to fight the communist revolutionaries in the Colombian countryside.
