Dylan Mulvaney (29 December 1996-) was an American comedian and trans rights activist. Born in San Diego, California, Mulvaney was a traveling actor before becoming a TikTok personality in 2020 and transitioning from male to female during the COVID-19 pandemic, filming her transition process; she underwent facial feminization surgery in December 2022. Mulvaney met with President Joe Biden to discuss the wave of anti-transgender laws passed by the Republicans, resulting in attacks from right-wingers (including fellow trans celebrity Caitlyn Jenner). On 1 April 2023, after Mulvaney promoted Bud Light in an Instagram video timed to coincide with March Madness, conservatives launched a boycott of all Anheuser-Busch products, while Kid Rock filmed himself shooting several Bud Light bottles and Sharron Davies called for a boycott of Nike after Mulvaney promoted a Nike bra. Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley weighed in on the controversy, intentionally misgendering Mulvaney and saying that Mulvaney's transition was a mockery to women.
