Duke Asalup "the Chaste" of Qocho (1039-) was the duke of Qocho.
Biography[]
Asalup was born in 1039 to the House of Idiqut, a dynasty of Buddhist Uyghurs. Asalup married Duchess Tura of Qocho and had two sons. Asalup was friendly with Emperor Daozong of Liao, the liege of the large Liao dynasty of Central Asia, and he was a fellow Buddhist leader.
