Duchess Carla of Franconia (7 July 783-) was a daughter of Doge Giovanni of Venice and Aikaterine Amalfinos. She was the Duchess of Franconia with Duke Hetan III of Franconia from 799.
Biography[]
Carla Galbaio was born on 7 July 783 to Doge Giovanni of Venice and Aikaterine Amalfinos, and she came from the House of Galbaio from the Republic of Venice. On the same day that she was born, she was betrothed to Duke Hetan III of Franconia as a part of a marriage alliance. On 15 July 799, by the time that she came of age, she formally married Hetan and became the Duchess of Franconia.
