Droite Nationaliste ("Nationalist right") was a reactionary political faction in late-19th century France. The faction emerged in 1883 during the French Third Republic, and the revanchist general Georges Ernest Boulanger was one of its heroes. The Nationalist Right sought to avenge France's defeat at the hands of the German Empire in the Franco-Prussian War of 1871 (particularly by recapturing Alsace-Lorraine), and it also supported anti-Semitism, perpetrating the Dreyfus affair. The Nationalist Right would lose support after a failed 1899 coup, and it dissolved during the Interwar period.
