Martin Andrew "Drew" McKissick was Chair of the South Carolina Republican Party from 13 May 2017, succeeding Matt Moore, and co-chair of the Republican National Committee. In 2023, Vivek Ramaswamy proposed that McKissick replace national Republican Party chair Ronna McDaniel.
