Drew Ferguson (born 15 November 1966) was a member of the US House of Representatives (R-GA 3) from 3 January 2017 to 3 January 2025, succeeding Lynn Westmoreland and preceding Brian Jack.
Biography[]
Drew Ferguson was born in Langdale, Alabama in 1966, and he worked as an alderman for West Point, Georgia before serving as its mayor from 2008 to 2016. In 2016, he was elected to the US House of Representatives as a Republican Party member, and he was a staunch conservative. On 18 December 2019, during the pre-impeachment vote debate, he decried the "liberal elites", "socialist Democrats", "condescending bureaucrats", and "swamp critters" who backed the impeachment process, and called it a "sham and a shame".
