Dragan Cavic

Dragan Cavic (born 10 March 1958) was President of the Republika Srpska from 28 November 2002 to 9 November 2006, succeeding Mirko Sarovic and preceding Milan Jelic.

Biography[]

Dragan Cavic was born in Zenica, SR Bosnia and Herzegovina, Yugoslavia in 1958. He worked as an economist, financial manager, and commercial director in several public and private companies. He was formerly a member of the Serb Democratic Party, serving as its deputy president from 1998 to 2002. From 2002 to 2006, he served as President of the Republika Srpska, and he would go on to found the National Democratic Movement in 2013.
