The Doré River, also known as Fifty Mile Creek, is a river in British Columbia, Canada. It was originally called "Fifty Mile Creek" by prospectors, who stopped at the creek to rest, repair their boats, and plan how to navigate Miles Canyon; it was later renamed Doré ("golden" in French) by the Norwegian prospector Olson.
