Biography[]
In order to allow Cao Ren to escape from Fan Castle, he set out together with Pang De to face Guan Yu. Fearful that Pang De's former master, Ma Chao, was on the side of Shu, he recommended against placing Pang De in the vanguard, but was reprimanded by Cao Cao. Surrounded by Guan Yu's water attack, he recommended surrender, but was killed by Pang De instead.
