Donatello Sforza (1444-1506) was a condotierro. A Milanese nobleman by birth, he later became a mercenary for Venice and fought in the wars with the Ottoman Empire as well as fellow Italian States. In 1500 he fought for the Papal States, and later in the decade for Spain. He died in 1506.
