Donald Whitfield (1846) was an English-American businessman and mining tycoon from Montana who wanted to buy up a lot of land, including the Yellowstone-Dutton Ranch in 1923. He is extremely corrupt and ruthless, and he was not afraid to buy off the local governments, and judges. He hired the Scottish-American sheepherder and criminal Banner Creightonm who was already feuding with the Dutton family. He was active during the Wild West, Prohibition and Roaring Twenties eras.
