Biography[]

Donald John Trump Jr. was born in Manhattan, New York City, New York in 1977, the son of Donald Trump and his wife Ivana Zelnickova. He served as a trustee and executive vice president of the Trump Organization, running the company alongside his younger brother Eric. Despite pledging not to do business with foreign countries during their father's presidency, they continued to do so, and Trump Jr. became a leading supporter of his father and a promoter of conspiracy theories on social media. He later came under scrutiny for a 9 June 2016 meeting with the Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya in which Veselnitskaya promised to deliver damaging information on Hillary Clinton, although President Trump denied knowledge of the meeting in July 2018. On 24 August 2020, Trump Jr. delivered an aggressive speech at the Republican National Convention in support of his father's presidential re-election bid, accusing the Democrats of socialism.
