Don Scott was a member of the Virginia House of Delegates (D-80) from 8 January 2020, succeeding Matthew James. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, he served in the US Navy before being imprisoned from 1994 to 2001 for drug trafficking. Following his release, a repentant Scott rose in the ranks of the KRA Corporation and relocated to Portsmouth, Virginia, and he became a lawyer in 2015 and a delegate in 2020.
