
Dogsomyn Bodoo (1 July 1895 – 31 August 1922) was Prime Minister of the Mongolian People's Republic from 16 April 1921 to 7 January 1922, succeeding Dambyn Chagdarjav and preceding Jalkhanz Khutagt Sodnomyn Damdinbazar. He was a member of the Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party.
Biography[]
Dogsomyn Bodoo was born in Mandshir Hutagt, Mongolia in 1895, and Bodoo - influenced by the Russian Bolsheviks - founded a secret anti-Chinese resistance and revolutionary organization after Khuree's occupation in 1919. He would be one of the seven founders of the Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party, and he served as Prime Minister from 1921 to 1922. In 1922, he resigned for health reasons, and his rival Soliin Danzan accused him of conspiring with reactionary elements to overthrow the government. On 31 August 1922, he was executed by firing squad.
