Doge Galla of Venice (722-763) was the Doge of Venice in 755, succeeding Doge Teodato of Venice and preceding Doge Domenico of Venice.
Biography[]
Galla was born to the House of Gaulo in 722, and in 755 he began an intrigue to overthrow Doge Teodato of Venice. Galla overthrew Teodato and had him blinded, and he briefly became the doge. However, Doge Domenico of Venice overthrew him that same year and blinded him as well. He died in 763.
