Dodinius was a Roman physician in the service of the Roman emperor Tiberius during the 1st century AD. In 33 AD, he suggested that Jesus' robe had bewitched the tribune Marcellus Gallio, causing Tiberius to order Gallio to find and destroy the robe upon his return to Iudaea.
