'Dodato Fante '(1481-1553) was a cardinal of the Papal States.
Biography[]
Dodato Fante was born in Urbino, Italy in 1481. Fante became an ordained cardinal in 1503 at the age of 22, and he was a supporter of the Borgia, led by Pope Alexander VI. Fante funded and supplied Cesare Borgia's campaigns in Romagna and Tuscany with his money from 1500 to 1503.
