Dirk Schaefer (1918-19 September 1944) was a German Wehrmacht soldier who was stationed in the occupied Netherlands during World War II. On 19 September 1944, he was killed in action with the US 101st Airborne Division in Eindhoven during the Battle of Eindhoven, part of Operation Market Garden.
