Diarra Traore (1935-8 July 1985) was Prime Minister of Guinea in 1984, succeeding Louis Lansana Beavogui. He was executed by Lansana Conte's government in 1985 after he led a failed coup.

Diarra Traore was born in Guinea in 1935 to a Malinke family, and he gained his military education at Frejus in France. Traore served as a garrison commander in the independent army of Guinea, but he was discharged due to Ahmed Sekou Toure's lack of trust in him. In 1984, Traore supported Lansana Conte's coup after Traore's death, and he became a member of the new military junta, serving as Prime Minister. In 1985, he was demoted to Minister of Education, so he decided to lead a coup in Guinea while Conte was in Togo, but loyal troops thwarted the uprising. Traore was captued after going into hiding, and he was one of about 100 military personnel - most of them fellow Malinkes - to be executed by firing squad in 1985 after being brutally assaulted.
