The Devil Killers was a Japanese street racing gang that operated in Fukuoka, Kyushu from the 1980s to 2012. Founded by Yotaro Nakajima, Toru Onisaka, and Eitatsu Furumichi - the "Three Musketeers" of Nakasu street racing - the gang was initially a group of hardcore hobbyists. After Nakajima's wife was put into a coma following a 1992 car crash, Nakajima decided to leave the gang and found Nakasu Taxi, while Furumichi became a policeman and Onisaka also left the gang. Younger members like Gentle Nakamura took control of the gang, and, by 2012, Devil Takamura had become the fastest racer and, thus, the gang's leader. Takamura, Nakamura, Cool Yoshimi, and Crash Kajiwara became the "Four Kings" in charge of the Devil Killers, engaging in increasingly dangerous street races with profit as their main incentive. In December 2012, Nakasu Taxi driver Kazuma Kiryu made enemies with the gang after getting into a fight with one of his members, and Furumichi - whom Kiryu once had as a passenger - asked Kiryu for his help with taking down the Devil Killers by racing and defeating their "kings" one by one. Eventually, Kiryu was able to do so, and, while the Four Kings picked a fistfight with Kiryu after Takamura's loss, Onisaka arrived and forced them to honor their agreement to disband now that Kiryu had defeated them.
