The Democratic Movement of France (MoDem) is a centrist and social liberal political party in France, founded on 1 December 2007. The party succeeded the Union for French Democracy, and it supported strong centrist views, supporting Nicolas Sarkozy and his The Republicans party. However, the MoDem party endorsed En Marche! candidate Emmanuel Macron in the 2017 presidential election, and the party held several cabinet positions under Prime Minister Edouard Philippe's government.
