Demeter

Demeter was the ancient Greek goddess of grain, agriculture, harvest, growth, nourishment, and the fertility of the Earth. She was the daughter of Kronos and Rhea, and was the sister of Hestia, Hera, Hades, Poseidon, Zeus, and Chiron. She had relationships with Iasion, her brothers Zeus and Poseidon, and Carmanor, and her children were Persephone, Despoina, Arion, Plutus, Philomelus, Eubuleus, Chrysothemis, and Dionysus. In Roman mythology, she was known as Ceres.
