Deimachus

Deimachus (7 April 354 BC-) was the Seleucid Governor of Bactriana during the late 4th century BC. Originally a Boeotian Greek, he came to govern Bactriana from Nikaia Indike. Under Antiochus I Soter, he and Megasthenes were sent to the court of the Mauryan ruler Bindusara as ambassadors.
