
Degna Djan of Abyssinia (800-860) was the King of Abyssinia from 825 to 860, succeeding Rema Armah of Abyssinia.
Biography[]
Degna Djan of Abyssinia was born in 800 to King Rema Armah of Abyssinia, a member of the Solomonic dynasty and a Miaphysite Christian. He succeeded his father as king of Abyssinia upon his death in 825, and he reigned until his death in 860. His son Dil Na'od was enfeoffed as the Duke of Axum.
