Debbie Lesko

Debbie Lesko (born 14 November 1958) was a member of the US House of Representatives (R-AZ 8) from 7 May 2018 to 3 January 2025, succeeding Trent Franks and preceding Abraham Hamadeh.

Biography[]

Debbie Lesko was born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin in 1958, and she later moved to Peoria, Arizona. She served in the Arizona Senate from 2015 to 2018, when she was elected to the US House of Representatives after being endorsed by Donald Trump. She won with 52.6% of the vote, and, while in the House, she supported tax cuts, empowering private schools, the repeal of Obamacare, a strong stance against illegal immigration, and pro-life causes.
