Dean Milton Gillespie (3 May 1884-2 February 1949) was a member of the US House of Representatives (R-CO 1) from 7 March 1944 to 3 January 1947, succeeding Lawrence Lewis and preceding John A. Carroll.

Biography[]

Dean Miller Gillespie was born in Salinas, Kansas in 1884, and he engaged in cattle raising in Clay County from 1900 to 1904 before moving to Denver, Colorado in 1905. He founded a power equipment company, and he served in the US House of Representatives from 1944 to 1947. He died of a heart attack while on a business trip to Baltimore in 1949.
