
David Spangler (2 December 1796-18 October 1856) was a member of the US House of Representatives (NR-OH 13) from 4 March 1833 to 3 March 1837, succeeding Elisha Whittlesey and preceding Daniel Parkhurst Leadbetter. Born in Sharpsburg, Maryland in 1796, he was raised in Zanesville, Ohio. After practicing law there and in Coshocton, he served in Congress.
