Biography[]

David Anderson was born in Jersey City, New Jersey in 1972, and he was a follower of the Black Hebrew Israelites, a new religious movement which claimed that black Africans were the true descendants of the Israelites. Anderson posted anti-Semitic and anti-police writings on his social media, and he was arrested in 2007 on weapons charges and later arrested in Ohio in 2009 for criminal mischief. Anderson soon became radicalized, chanting New Testament verses in his home and planning a terrorist attack targeting Jews. Anderson also entered into a relationship with Francine Graham, and the two of them lived together in a van. In December 2019, he and Francine murdered a man in Bayonne, and, a week later, on 10 December 2019, they decided to carry out a terrorist attack against the JC Kosher Supermarket on 223 Martin Luther King Drive. They killed Detective Joseph Seals in a shootout at Bayview Cemetery before driving a stolen U-Haul truck to the kosher grocery store, where they proceeded to kill 3 people, including the store owner and a Hasidic yeshiva student from Brooklyn. The two then engaged in an hour-long gun battle with the JCPD, NJSP, NYPD, ATF, SWAT, and NYPD before being gunned down inside the supermarket
