
David Kidder (8 December 1787-1 November 1860) was a member of the US House of Representatives (NR-ME 7) from 4 March 1823 to 3 March 1827, succeeding Enoch Lincoln and preceding Samuel Butman. Born in Dresden, Maine, he practiced law in Bloomfield, Skowhegan, and Norridgewock before serving as country prosecutor from 1811 to 1823, in Congress from 1823 to 1827, and in the state house in 1829.
