David Allen (15 April 1920–2010) was a US Army private who served in the 506th PIR, 101st Airborne Division during World War II under the command of Steve Foley.
Biography[]
David Allen was born in Jackson, Mississippi in 15 Apriel 1920.His airborne training began in August 1942 at Camp Toccoa, Georgia under Steve Foley.On January 15, 1945, in Noville, he and a few paratroopers confronted a large number of Germans. Gordon, under the cover of Scott Riley, inflicted considerable losses on the Germans and thereby saved Moody from German pursuit. After the war, he returned to the states and died at the age of 90.
