Daughtrey was a Wild West frontier town in the US state of Texas. In 1858, the bounty hunter King Schultz and his slave Django Freeman entered town, where Schultz killed the sheriff Bill Sharp, who was a wanted man; US Marshal Gill Tatum had 100 armed townsfolk surround the saloon as he attempted to arrest the new arrivals, only for Schultz to reveal that Sharp was an impostor, and was really the outlaw "Willard Peck". As a result, Schultz and Freeman were allowed to go free.
