The Daughters of Artemis were an all-female Greek cult dedicated to the worship of the Greek goddess Artemis through hunting and the protection of flora and fauna. They were hostile to outsiders, killing those who intrude upon their lands or hunt in their forests.
During the Peloponnesian War, the Daughters were led by Daphnae out of the dilapidated Temple of Artemis in Phocis. She tasked Kassandra the Eagle Bearer with slaying powerful and legendary creatures across Greece and bringing her trophies from their corpses.
