Date Muneto (1324-1385) was the daimyo of the Date clan of northern Honshu.
Biography[]
Date Muneto was born in 1324, and he ruled over Mutsu Province in the north of Honshu. During the Nanboku-cho period, he sided with the loyalists of the Southern Court, but he stayed away from the fighting that took place in central Honshu.
