Danilo Garza (died 1988) was a Mexican judicial policeman who took part in Operation Leyenda during the 1980s.
Biography[]
Danilo Garza was born in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico, and he served in the judicial police for several years. He met DEA agent Walt Breslin during the early 1980s and was recruited to aid the DEA in Operation Leyenda, a major crackdown on the Guadalajara Cartel. Garza took part in the ambush and capture of DEA agent Sergio Verdin in 1986, and he was later shot in the head and killed at the 1988 Chiapas airfield ambush.
